Twisted Vintage

tv712v1 tv712v21

Twentieth Century Interiors have a new section on their website intended to showcase a range of items created from vintage furniture given a new lease of life by applying contemporary fabrics and treatments.

The early signs are promising with the G Plan stool above being my favourite so far.

Great Dane with Sexy Legs!

This is without doubt the nicest Danish Rosewood coffee table I have seen for a while.

It was designed by E.W Bach for Toften Mobilfabrik Denmark in 1961.

It is constructed to a very high standard from solid Rosewood. It has two sliding drawers exhibiting some lovely delicate pulls, these drawers have a face on either side so they can be opened from both sides. In between the drawers you will find a space to be used as a shelf.

By far the most obvious design feature are the stunning V shaped legs, very eyecatching.
