Loving these pure wool cushions from Couverture.

Former Paul Smith designer Emily Dyson established lifestyle store Couverture in 1999.

In Spring 2008 Couverture relocated from its original site in Chelsea to the heart of Notting Hill. Here Dyson, together with her fashion designer husband Ian Paley, opened the concept store “Couverture & The Garbstore”. Launching to critical acclaim with The Times voting it Cult Shop in 2008, the store is now firmly established as one of London’s premier shopping destinations.

My personal faves are these fruity looking cushions by Maria La Rosa, each one is hand woven to add that homely feel to any room in the house.

This hot weather in the UK must be having an effect on me as I am really taken to these retro beach ball inspired lamp shades!

TobyHouse, a London-based interdisciplinary interior design firm, has developed a lamp shade full of summer whimsy. Talk of the town at the 2009 Milan furniture fair, there’s no denying the immediacy of the associations most of us have with the form. All are made with authentic beach balls made rigid with a resin.
