Firstly, sorry to all you regular readers of TFCR out there for my lack of posts last month.

I have recently started a new job working for a stunning contemporary furniture showroom called CHAPLINS in Hatch End, Middlesex. The showroom even has its very own Design Museum so for the first time in my life I actually look forward to getting up in the morning!

CHAPLINS pieces are regularly featured in interior design magazines such as Elle Decoration and Living Etc so I am sure many of you will be familiar with both their name and the brands they stock such as Vitra, Knoll and Kartell.

Anyway, once things have calmed down I hope to get back up to speed so please keep checking back! J x

A really great idea and something that I have never seen before.

Another one of my favourite rooms which was featured in the March 2008 edition of Elle Decoration.

My favourite bits include the ‘Barcelona Day Bed’ and vintage Seventies lamp.

Winner of the 2007 ELLE Decoration British Design Award for Best in Bathrooms, the Inside Out bathroom cabinet is a play on the idea of decoration modern wall cabinet from Welsh design duo Freshwest.

Made from aluminium composite, a material that is usually more at home industry than contemporary furniture, it is however, the perfect material to achieve our desire – to reverse everything…and reveal what’s inside, on the outside.

Destined to become a design classic, this quirky and cool design features the etched shapes of lotion and potion bottles that give a hint as to what lies inside.
