These new OLLE dining chairs from IKEA certainly pay a passing resemblance to the classic Ercol, same look for the fraction of the price! I personally would use one on its own, possibly in the bedroom or bathroom to add that touch of colour.

An excellent pair of Ercol stacking family chairs. The chairs are made of Elm and in excellent condition with no loose joints, splits or wobbles and only have the normal wear marks commensurate for age.

The Ercol stacking chair was originally designed by Lucian Ercolani in 1957 and has been in almost constant production since that date. Made in solid beech with elm seats, they are finished with twocoats of durable matt water borne lacquers. They are available in almost any colour but these ones are coloured with Farrow & Ball paints.
